Type of Scheme An open-ended equity fund.
Launch Date September 26, 2005
Fund Objective The investment objective of the Scheme is to provide income distribution and/or medium tolong term capital gains while at all times emphasizing the importance of capital appreciation. However there is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.Contrarian investing refers to buying into fundamentally sound scripts that have been overlooked by the market (for reasons of short term trend) and waiting for the market to give these stocks their real value in course of time.

* Investment by the scheme in securitised debt will not normally exceed 20% of the net assets of the scheme.

Investments in derivative instruments may be done for trading as well as hedging and Portfolio balancing. The scheme may use derivatives upto the maximum limit permitted under SEBI Regulations from time to time. No investments will be made in foreign securitised debt.
If permitted by SEBI under extant regulations / guidelines, not more than 25% of the net assets of the scheme shall be deployed in securities lending. The Scheme would limit its exposure, with regards to securities lending., for a single intermediary, to the extent of 5% of the total net assets of the scheme at the time of lending
Liquidity  Repurchase / Switch at prevailing NAV based prices with applicable loads on all business days.

Minimum Application Amount Under each option minimum investment Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Re.1/- thereafter.
