  • What is Transact Online?

    Transact Online is a service offered on www.tatamutualfund.com for investors of Tata Mutual Fund whereby they can Purchase, Redeem or Switch units of Tata Mutual Fund schemes (except Tata Young Citizen Fund, Tata Retirement Savings Fund) online. They can also view their Account Details, Transaction Details and Statement of Account online.

  • How can I register for Transact Online facility? What are the documents / agreement required to use the Online Transaction facility?

    Under the Transact Online facility we have 3 options, for availing these facilities we need to have an existing folio with Tata Mutual Fund where all the holders are KYC complied.

    • Transact with PIN: To transact using Personal Identification Number (PIN) you need to have a folio number with Tata Mutual Fund and a PIN. PIN Agreement signed by all holders and a self attested copy of your PAN card (if not provided earlier) is the mandatory documents for Transact with PIN facility. You can download the PIN agreement form and submit a duly completed and signed PIN agreement to our Investor Services Centre. On receipt of a completed PIN agreement form a PIN will be sent to you on secured stationery in 7 days time.
    • Transact with PAN: For this option you are required to have a folio where all the holders are KYC complied. However there are only limited features available under this option.
    • Transact using User Name: Under this option you can yourself create a User Name and a password of your choice. To avail of this facility your folio/s should mandatorily have an Email ID registered. All your folios where the parameters used for creation of User Name (viz. PAN, Bank account and email address) matches with the information available on our records are available for transaction under the User Name created by you. You can give a request to update the email Id in your folios by submitting a written request at any of our Investor Service Centers or by calling our Virtual Investor Services Center on 1800 209 0101 on all days between 09:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.

  • How do I generate User Name and Password for Transact Online facility?

    Creation of a User ID is a one-time process. To do this, you would need to click on the ‘Create User ID’ button and follow the instructions given below:

    • Click on the option to “Register”.
    • Enter your PAN, Account number, email address and mobile number.
    • Choose a User Name of your choice (Criteria for username)
    • Choose a password of your choice (Password should be a minimum of 8 characters. The password must consist of alpha numeric and a special character and one Upper Case Character. The password must contain at-least one special character only from the following set (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ = { } [ ] | : ' < > . ? / )
    • Re-enter the password. (Both passwords must match to proceed further)
    • Answer the security questions that are listed. Remember the answers to the secret question for future reference
    • Read the Terms and Condition in and give your consent for the same
    • Click on ‘Register’
    • Your User Name will be created successfully
    • Activate your UserName: You will receive an email on the registered email address with an activation link.
    • Log on to the mail box and click on the activation link and log in.

  • What are the facilities available in Transact Online account?

    The following facilities are available under the Transact Online module using Transact with PIN and Transact using User Name module:

    • Purchase
    • Switch
    • Redemption
    • Registration of SIP/ SWP/STP
    • Cancelation of SIP/SWP/STP (registered online)
    • Viewing portfolio and Transaction History
    • Viewing of account statement
    • Viewing of Multiple banks registered.
    • Further, profile maintenance features like change of PIN and Password is also available.

    Further, with Transact using User Name option you can transact in all your folios where the parameters used for creation of User Name (viz. PAN, Bank account and email address) matches with the information available on our records.

    Under the Transact with PAN option you have the following options:

    • Purchase
    • Registration of SIP
    • Cancelation of SIP (registered online)
    Please note that the above mentioned facilities are not available for except Tata Young Citizen Fund, Tata Retirement Savings Fund.

  • How do I register for SIP online?

    You may register your details for SIP on the online transaction module. On successfully registration you will be sent a prefilled application form which needs to be signed by all unit holders and sent the same to the nearest Investor Services Centre in the next 3 days time.

  • What is the NAV applicable for my transactions?

    The cut-off time for the online transactions is 5 minutes prior to the cut –off timings as applicable for the specific scheme in an offline mode. The details of timings are mentioned in the Scheme Information Document. The time will be the time at which the request is logged in. Please note that incase of liquid and non liquid scheme schemes (equal to or more than 2 lakhs), the subscription NAV applicable will be subject to availability of funds in the AMC scheme account.

  • Is transact online module safe and secured?

    Yes. Tata Mutual Fund has taken sufficient measures to ensure that the information transmitted between you and us across the internet is safe and secured. We have obtained the Digital Security certificate which has one 128-bit encryption level from Verisign

  • With which banks is the online purchase facility activated?

    Currently we have the online purchase facility activated with the following Banks: (Subscription of units is currently available if you are an account holder and have availed of Net Banking facility with any of the following banks). Please note that incase of liquid and non liquid scheme schemes (equal to or more than 2 lakhs), the subscription NAV applicable will be subject to availability of funds in the AMC scheme account.
